Location

Jagniątków is located at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains, on the slopes of the mountains, in the valley of the Wrzosowka River and its tributaries Sopot and Brocz. Such a location results in dispersed development of the village. Outside the valleys, some of the houses are located along the road connecting Sobieszow and Piechowice.

Jagniątków is currently a summer resort, the highest and closest to the Karkonosze (450 – 620 meters above sea level) district of Jelenia Góra (it can be reached by public transportation – lines no. 9 and 15 – from the city center), with buildings typical of submontane resorts. There are many trails leading from here to the Karkonosze Mountains, both on foot and by bicycle, including to the nearby Chojnik Castle, to the Black Jagniątkowski Cauldron and also to the Snowy Cauldrons – from where you can continue your trip along the peaks of the Karkonosze Mountains towards Szklarska Poreba or Karpacz.
